A unique evening with alternative music  from Belgium.

Leader of the band, Les Istes, well-known for changing their name every month, Matthieu Ha, Belgian, of Vietnamese origin, creates an unorthodox original style with his “contro alto” voice. Singing with no lyrics, his music becomes narrative, expressive, strange and international.  “His fascinating contro alto voice goes beyond the words and puts you into a moving and powerful musical fantasy…”

Last performance in bangkok was a memorable gig with the Novemberistes in RAIN DOGS.

Matthieu’s itinerary speaks for itself: Bruxelles, Liege, Tournai, Mons, Lille, Paris, Marseille, Toulouse, Groningen, Berlin, Poznan, Vilnus, St Petersbourg, Moscou, Pekin, Chengdu, Canton, Dju Hai, Shangai, Nankin, Shensein, Tokyo, Kobe, Osaka, Hanoi and Bangkok. 

Matthieu is preparing an independent festival BANG(zero)k festival (December 18-25, 2010) to build an asian connection between Thais, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese, Burman and Malaysian artists.
